Another dish of eggs I love to eat is the scotch egg. The scotch egg is a mix of boiled egg, bread crumbs, and sausage meat, which is either baked or deep-fried. To prepare the classic scotch eggs, you will need forty-five minutes in total. There are a lot of ingredients needed, they are – As many eggs, you need according to the serving, 2 beaten eggs, 500gm sausage meat, 4 tablespoons of parsley, and chopped chives each, 1 tablespoon English mustard, 1 teaspoon nutmeg, a cup of breadcrumbs, 2 cup vegetable oil, 3 tablespoons cup flour, salt, and half teaspoon fresh ground pepper.
Boil the eggs and then peel them. Put the sausage meat in a bowl and add the spices and herbs mentioned above and shape them into balls. Now, take three more bowls, put raw eggs, breadcrumbs, and flour in each separately. Dust your fingers with flour and flatten the meat with your hands. Now, take the boiled eggs, shape the meat around them. Now, roll the scotch egg in the flour, dip them in raw egg, and coat them with breadcrumbs entirely. Deep fry the eggs until they become golden brown in colour. Serve with onions.
Spinach Scotch Eggs
It will take about an hour to make spinach Scotch eggs. The ingredients you need for the dish are Boiled eggs according to your serving, 2 raw eggs, 2 cup spinach (chopped), 1 tablespoon minced garlic, half cup gram flour and coriander leaves (chopped), mashed potato, whole wheat breadcrumbs, half teaspoon smoked paprika, salt, 1 cup rice flour and 2 cup vegetable oil.
Take the boiled eggs and peel them. Now put the spinach, minced garlic, coriander leaves, mashed potatoes, paprika, rice flour, gram flour and salt in a bowl; mix them, and make the mix into balls. Flatten the balls, and wrap the boiled eggs in them. Now, roll the scotch egg in the flour, dip them in raw egg, and coat them with breadcrumbs. Deep fry the eggs until they become golden brown in colour. Serve with sauce of your liking.
Beetroot And Carrot Scotch Eggs
You will need an hour to make Beetroot And Carrot Scotch Eggs. Boil egg according to the serving and peel them. Take two raw eggs, half cup of mashed carrot and mashed beetroot each. Take half teaspoon of ginger paste, black pepper, allspice, and smoked paprika each. 1 teaspoon of garlic paste and chopped coriander. 1 tablespoon rice flour, 2 tablespoon gram flour, 2 cups of olive oil, and salt.
Take the boiled eggs and peel them. Put the raw batted eggs in a bowl. Mix the ginger paste, allspice, smoked paprika, ginger, paste, garlic paste, chopped coriander, rice flour, gram flour, and salt in one bowl and mix. Make balls of the mix. Now, flatten the balls and wrap the boiled eggs around them. Baked Scotch Eggs
It takes an hour to prepare baked scotch eggs. The ingredients needed are Half a kilo of sausage, salt, half teaspoon of onion powder, half cup of all-purpose flour, 1 whisked egg, and 1 cup breadcrumb.
Mix the onion powder, salt, and sausage meat in a bowl. Preheat the microwave oven at 200 degrees. Make patties of the meat mix, dip boiled eggs in flour, wrap the patty around the boiled eggs, dip it in the whisked egg and cover it with breadcrumbs. Now, put them in a cookie sheet (non-greased) and put it in the oven. Bake for nearly forty minutes cool it and serve.
