One of the most popular genres in cinema is the Thriller. I love a mystery and how every layer of a story unfolds trying to uncover the truth (In most cases). The cerebral input of storytellers is what drives an audience to the theatre. When the truth is not what it seems, you cannot help it but focus on the excitement of how the movie will conclude.

These are some of the best thriller movies which will surely make you grab some popcorn while you are on the edge of your seat.

The silence of the lambs

One of the most successful movies in the 90’s decade. It takes a monster to catch a monster. With an unforgettable performance by Anthony Hopkins as one of the most remembered villains of all time “Hannibal Lector” and remarkable portrayal by Jodie foster, the Silence of the Lambs will get on your nerves for a few days.

Christopher Nolan really did blow our minds off with Memento. A movie which runs in reverse. Guy Peirce sufferers from retrograde amnesia( short term memory loss). He is trying to find his wife’s killer with little of what he can manage through notes and tattoos. One of the greatest thrillers of all time.

Prisoners
