Spider-Man: Far From Home is in the theatres and fans have finally witnessed the end of Marvel Cinematic Universe’s third phase. Ever since the release of Avengers: Endgame, fans wanted to know the things that would happen and there were a lot of unanswered questions going through our minds. But after the release of Far From Home, we at least have answers to some of the major questions that will define the fourth and fifth phases of MCU.
For those who haven’t watched Spider-Man: Far From Home yet, the movie focuses on a self-contained Peter who is trying to deal with the death of Tony Stark and life after him. So if you think there will be any crossover, then you are completely wrong.
Without further ado, let us take a look at the things that Spider-Man: Far From Home clears about MCU’s next phase.
- Skrulls will appear in MCU phase 4, but not as primary villains.
After the release of Captain Marvel, there was a rumor that Skrulls will play a major part in the upcoming events of MCU, but that has been completely scrapped because they were shown victim in the film. And, that’s why Carol was unavailable during the gap between her and Iron Man movies. But during the final credits scene of Spider-Man: Far From Home, we got to know that Nick Fury and Maria Hill were Talos and Soren, which means they will use their shapeshifting abilities in the future of MCU too.
- Spider-Man’s identity revealed.
One of the things that bothered fans after the death of Tony was whether Spidey will keep his identity secret? And, other than this, we know that Spider-Man’s probably the only character in MCU who tries to hide his identity. But that changes after the release of Far From Home because J. Jonah Jameson reveals that Peter is Spider-Man. It will be interesting to see how things proceed from here.
- Nick Fury will remain in charge.
Another thing many people had doubts was regarding the presence of Nick Fury in MCU. Will he continue to be the leader? The question is answered by Nick himself as he plays a definite role in Far From Home and by the end, he also tells that it is time to get back to work, which means Nick will lead the team again.
- Peter Parker will take Iron Man’s mantle (sort of).
The biggest question that people wanted an answer to was regarding Spider-Man playing Iron Man-kind role in MCU. Well, the movie clears that Spidey will be a replacement of Iron Man because he’s the one who will be handling all the technologies that Tony created with the help of Happy Hogan and Nick Fury.
We hope that the fourth phase of MCU is as exciting as the first three phases. It will be interesting to see how Marvel Studios approaches things after the departure of their famous characters.
