Remember when Vicky Kaushal got injured on the sets of a film? He got stitches on his face when an iron door slammed on his face. That incident was from the sets of the upcoming film Bhoot. Feels so spooky right? The film is being produced by Karan Johar and it also stars Bhumi Pednekar. Such a massive cast and production team for a horror movie means the movie must be really good and the studio is aiming for a wider target audience.
I am impressed by the trailer and was on the edge of my seat when I was watching. The movie is about an abandoned ship which floated ashore on Juhu Beach due to a storm. Sumit Desai (Vicky) is assigned to the supervising the ship and when he enters the ship, he feels an eerie presence. The horror sequences are disturbing and mysterious.
The movie was supposed to release on 15th November 2019 but got delayed due to Vicky’s injury. Now, the movie will be released on 21st February 2020. Bhoot is divided into two parts, which raises a lot of questions in my mind.
Will the cast of the first movie and the second be the same? What is the real story behind the ship being haunted? How many spirits are there in the ship, and are the spirits following the characters beyond the ship? All the answers I need will only be revealed when the movie is out in the theatre. My last question about the film is to myself… Should I go alone to the theatre to watch or not?
