Eating Three Meals
The classic three meals a day, i.e., breakfast, lunch, and dinner are very important. And, having them at the right time is mandatory to help you lose weight. Also, having late dinners should be forbidden. You must eat at least two to three hours before you hit the sack! This way, you give an ample amount of time that is required for digestion and aid weight loss.
Additionally, don’t forget to consume 30 grams of protein in every meal. This will protect your muscles when you diet. Protein-rich food includes; lean meat, poultry, fish, eggs, milk, yogurt, cheese, seeds, nuts, beans, legumes, and tofu.
Three To Four Small Meals
One of the most popular methods to drop pounds is to eat three to four small meals throughout the day instead of big ones. So, with your three main meals, add two small snacks. This helps enhance your metabolism leading to weight loss. And, this way, you won’t go hungry, causing binge-eating.
If you love them carbs, don’t worry. Consume it around your workout sessions. When you exercise, it improves insulin sensitivity enabling your muscles to take on those carbs.
Once or twice a week, take up fasting. According to Brad Pilon’s book, Eat, Stop, Eat, once a week, fast for 24 hours and rest of the week you can eat freely, but of course, in moderation.
