Pixar’s ‘Soul’ Trailer Will Lift Up Your Spirits

The Pixar team is renowned for its original film making that touches the hearts of billions around the world. One of my favorite movies is from Pixar only. Who can forget the opening sequence of UP? With every movie, Pixar brings something special to it. After the success of Coco, Pixar is taking upon Jazz music and its connection to a musician’s soul.

Soul is about a music teacher joe (Jamie Foxx) who finally catches his big break and is about to perform in his favorite Jazz club. The twist in the tale is that Joe’s soul has left his body and is transported into the “You Seminar,” a place where souls are trained before birth to find their passion. He meets a wandering soul called “22” (Tina Fey), who is lost from years and is unable to find her passion. Together, they must find their passion and return to the real world before it’s too late.

Pete doctor is directing the movie, for those who don’t know about him, he is the greatest animation director living. His methods to make a film are personal, emotionally charged and filled with similes like a poem. Soul will be released on June 19, 2021, and it is already creating Oscar buzz with the first trailer.
