Nothing opened my eyes like The Matrix. The revelation that we are part of a programmed and indoctrinated species. Since the release of the first Matrix movie, the franchise has been a subject of long debates. After more than a decade of the trilogy’s conclusion, Lana Wachowski is set to write the next installment of the Matrix franchise starring our beloved Keanu Reeves and Carrie Anne Moss.
“Many of the ideas Lilly and I explored 20 years ago about our reality are even more relevant now. I’m very happy to have these characters back in my life and grateful for another chance to work with my brilliant friends,” Lana Wachowski said.
The Matrix series was one of the best action films I had ever seen. Every character had depth and wisdom to them that helped the audience to perceive reality on an entirely new dimension. Now that Agent Smith is gone who will take the mantle of the antagonist from Hugo Weaving’s convincing performance.
There is so much excitement among the fans; we will get to see our favorite universe once again on the big screen. The production will begin in 2020, so we will have to wait a little bit.
