Bombshell Review: The Harsh Truth Of #Metoo At Workplaces, A Must Watch

Yesterday I watched the movie Bombshell. The ensemble of Charlize Theron, Nicole Kidman, Margot Robbie, and John Lithgow acted with intensity and gravity. I think it is the first movie on #metoo movement to see the light of the day, and the films capture the spirit of unethical workplace environment with a near-perfect film. Jay Roach has done an excellent job. John Lithgow is getting better with every movie. How he got under the skin of the infamous sexual predator Roger Ailes is a subject of research.

It is no surprise that Charlize Theron and Margot Robbie are nominated for the Oscars this year. The fearful and innocent performance of Margot Robbie is the true depiction of helpless victims of powerful men being sexual predators. John Lithgow’s body language and dialogues gave a dark insight into how these vile men lure young women by promising them glorious careers and demand their silence by fear and bullying.

Even if you are a man watching the movie, you will be shocked and be disgusted to see how much a woman has to bear just to keep working. These predators are so influential and tactical that it took a revolution to bring out their truth.

Men and women of all ages should watch Bombshell to understand how these predators use women. Bombshell will motivate you to have a voice, that you are not alone, and there is no need to be afraid. When women unite, they can take down giants like Roger Ailes.
