Our minds are great companions and worst masters. We must learn that every living thing is performing a programmed function or routine. You can also be programmed to be lazy, unmotivated, and uninspired.
Everyone is waiting for things to happen to them but the truth waits on the other side of reverse engineering this notion. We just require a seed to make an idea grow into a system and structure. I came up with several ways to seed ideas into your mind so you can be the “Master of your own fate.”
Imagine yourself as a time traveler. Where do you see yourself in five years with your current habits? What do you have to offer that the world can be benefitted from in the coming future?
Walk into their shoes
Imagine yourself in place of your friend, father, mother, teacher, employer, or even your enemies. Try to think like them for a bit, you will come up with a bunch of new perceptions and will be able to find solutions.
Think like a Superhero
Who is your favorite Superhero? mine is Batman of course. It is a great practice to imagine ourselves as our favorite superheroes and to think about what would you do if you were them?
Do a SWOT analysis
To check the viability of your idea, conduct a comprehensive SWOT analysis of your plan. You will foresee the problems and opportunities and will get equipped with solutions before the problems arrive.
Write down your ideas
Your ideas need a physical manifestation. Jot down your ideas on a notebook or a sticky note. Glance at them every day for a few seconds and someday you will see those ideas take shape and grow with you. I did it, and it has worked like a charm for me.
