Feeling the effects of Saturday night out? But then don’t we all need a break from the monotonous routines of our lives? So, here are five things that you need to know if you are heading for a Saturday night.

Keep the water level up – It does not matter how much alcohol you can tolerate, ensure that you rehydrate yourself the morning after. Electrolytes are also a good option, and you can replace them with tea or coffee unless and until the morning after, which may be Sunday or Monday morning. Once the water levels are up, you will instantly start feeling better.
Are short-term remedies worth taking? – A super greasy breakfast such as fried bacon, with buttered toast or a burger and scrambled eggs is a popular American hangover cure. However, you may spend the rest of the day hugging the toilet. Therefore, short term remedies look attractive but are trouble at the end. So I will suggest all you party animals to try different long term hangover cures and see what works the best for you.
Not everything that shines is gold – There is a vast amount of information on the internet, and most of it is usually unhelpful. So do your homework well. Go through several websites, pay attention to the source and take the leap.
Less is better – I can already hear those sighs and “Come on!” directed at me. However, I am not wrong. It is healthy to take your alcohol intake a notch down and cut back on your partying days. Regular partying will not help, and after a point of time, the results will start showing in your work performance and your relationships. Prevention is better than cure. Isn’t it? Even if it is not always what we want.
